Barksdale Appreciation Night Announced

Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs News Release
BOSSIER CITY, LA -- On Friday January 3, 2003, the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs will honor America and Barksdale Air Force Base with "Barksdale Appreciation Night" at the CenturyTel Center as the Mudbugs take on the Austin Ice Bats at 7:05 p.m.
The Mudbugs will wear special patriotic jerseys, sponsored by Hibernia, to commemorate the occasion and fans will be able to purchase them immediately following the game through a jersey auction.
Also, the first 3,000 fans at the CenturyTel Center will receive a United States flag, sponsored by AEP Swepco.
The game will be the first meeting of the season between the Mudbugs and the Austin Ice Bats and will be the first home game of 2003 for Bossier-Shreveport.
