MOBILE, Ala. - With the dog days of summer upon us, the Mobile BayBears are inviting your pets to Hank Aaron Stadium when they take on the Montgomery Biscuits on Sunday, August 1, at 6:05, rescheduled from the original date on July 18 when the BayBears were rained out.
Sponsored by Purina Dog Chow, if you come to the ballpark with your pet, you get in free. All pets and their owners will have plenty of room to sprawl out on BayBear Mountain beyond the left field wall, a perfect place to fetch a home run.
It's also a Fausak's Family Sunday at "The Hank". Kids will be able to play catch on the field between 5 and 5:30 p.m. and run the bases after the contest. A great day for the entire family, a relaxing evening with the kids, your pets and your Mobile BayBears.
The BayBears are in action Wednesday night against the Montgomery Biscuits at 7:05 to begin a five-game homestand.
