The third quarter woes continued as the Vipers were outscored 25-17 in the third frame. The Vipers led by as many as 16 in the third quarter, but Tulsa would rally. A Jeremy Kelly free-throw with 3:53 remaining in the period capped off a 20-6 Tulsa run that brought them to within one point of the lead, the closest that they would get to the lead in the game.
