Buffalo Bandits News Release
Buffalo, NY (March 10, 2004) -- Buffalo Bandits General Manager Kurt Silcott announced today that the team has signed forward Brian Kazarian. As is club policy, terms of the deal were undisclosed.
"We've been in contact with Bryan for some time now," said Silcott. "When we lost Aime Caines, Kerry Susheski and Ryan Powell for the season, we knew we'd need some right-handed help. We added Thomas Montour and realized that Bryan was a future option for us after he fulfilled his commitment to hockey. We expect Bryan to make an impact as soon as Darris feels that he understands our system."
A native of Owen Sound, Ontario, Kazarian appeared in five games last season for the Albany Attack, registering two goals and four assists for six points. During his two-year NLL career, Kazarian has totaled six goals and 12 assists with 43 loose balls collected. The Wilfrid Laurier University sophomore recently completed his second season of Golden Hawk hockey, recording 25 points (6+19) and 35 penalty minutes in 20 games. In 44 career games at the collegiate level, Kazarian has totaled 46 points (16+30) and 88 penalty minutes.
The East-leading Buffalo Bandits take on the Arizona Sting at the HSBC Arena on Saturday, March 13, at 7:30 PM. Ticket packages are available by calling the Buffalo Bandits Ticket Office at 1-888-467-2273, or fans can purchase packages at the HSBC Arena Box Office or any Tickets.com locations.
