Bandits Announce Eight More Signings for 2013 Season

SIOUX CITY, IA - For the 2013 Champions Professional Indoor Football League (CPIFL) season, the Bandits have signed eight more players to join the 30 others on the roster. The Bandits will begin their training camp on Feb. 9th.
Frederick Bruno (WR-5'8" 195 lbs) returns for his third season with the Bandits. In Bruno's two years with the Bandits, he's had a total of 12 rushing touchdowns and a total of 759 pass reception yards. Bruno attended Wayne State College, where he led his team in receiving, all-purpose yards and touchdowns to earn himself All-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference South Division First Team honors, as well as ranking third in NCAA Division II play in all-purpose yards per game with 197.27.
Sean Treasure (RB-6'0" 200 lbs) also returns to the Bandits this season. Treasure joined the team last season after playing for the Sioux Falls Storm from 2007 to 2011. In his first season with the Bandits, Treasure rushed for 269 yards in 58 attempts. In 2009 with the Storm, Treasure set the team's single season rushing record with 812 yards in 13 games. Treasure is a Minnesota State-Mankato alum, where he was named to the 2005 Don Hansen's Football Gazette All-Northwest Region Team.
Thomas Wells (LB-6'1" 250 lbs) returns to the Bandits for his third season. Wells has a grand total of 11 sacks, in which he gained 54 yards. He also ranks second in Bandits career fumble returns with 3, in which he returned for 16 yards. Wells played for Chadron State College from 2006 to 2009. In Wells' 2009 season as a CSC Eagle, he had a grand total of 56 tackles and had 1 interception for 5 yards.
Robert Kirvin (WR-6'4" 240 lbs) joins the Bandits this season after playing for the Billings Outlaws, the Lacrosse Spartans, the Iowa Blackhawks, and the Council Bluffs Express. In the Bandits' meeting with the Express as a part of the American Professional Football League last year, Kirvin led the Express with four receptions for 18 yards. Kirvin is also a University of Sioux Falls alum.
