ROSEMONT, Ill. - After scoring only two runs on seven hits in the first exhibition game on Sunday the Bandits bats came alive in game two on Monday night as Chicago would score 13 runs in through just the first three innings of the game.

Sara Moulton got the start in the circle for Chicago, and got plenty of run support as the Bandits scored four runs in the bottom of the first inning to take a 4-1 lead on the Rebellion. Amber Patton hit a high fly ball to left field, which was dropped by the outfielder to score Taylor Edwards and Tammy Williams. 2014 Worth Home Run Award winner Brittany Cervantes flexed her power with a two run bomb to straight away center to increase the lead to three.

The Bandits batted around the order in the second inning with hits by Emily Allard, Brenna Moss, Williams, Taylor Edwards and Cervantes adding a bunt single. Moss and Williams hit back-to-back doubles while Taylor Edwards smacked a two run homer to left field in the five run inning.

In the third, Williams doubled to center to score two runners after Zymkowitz capitalized on a Rebellion error. Amber Patton singled home Williams to put the Bandits up 13-1.

Williams ended the evening 2-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs scored. Allard chipped in three singles to go 3-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored.

In the sixth inning, Tatum Edwards hit an RBI single to score tryout hopeful Christina Jacques of Belhaven who got on with an infield single. Alex Booker and tryout hopeful Kelsi Jones followed the trend and hit back-to-back singles. Jones batted in Blank and Tatum Edwards.

Jones, a former Louisville Cardinal, added an RBI double in the bottom of the eighth to score Tatum Edwards and extend the Bandits lead to 17-5.

Moulton finished the game with two strikeouts while allowing two runs. She was relieved by Tatum Edwards in the third while Kirsten Verdun finished out the game for the Bandits after coming on in relief during the sixth inning.

Following the game, the Bandits made their final roster decision based on yesterday's open tryouts and the two exhibition games. Former Iowa Hawkeye Megan Blank, Vicky Galasso of Idaho State and Kelsi Jones of Louisville will all be added to the Bandits roster for the 2015 season pending the finalization of their contracts.

The Bandits begin the regular season Friday, May 29 with a three game series in Pennsylvania at CONSOL Energy Park. First pitch is scheduled for 6:05 p.m. CT.

Tickets for all 2015 Bandits games, including the home opener on Thursday, June 4 against the Akron Racers, are on sale now. For more information about the Chicago Bandits, or to purchase tickets, visit www.chicagobandits.com.
