Baltimore got off to a slow start in yesterday's match against the Tropics, going scoreless in the first quarter. Two goals in the final quarter of play helped push the Blast ahead, and the team won 4-3 in the series' first game. Moises Gonzalez racked up two assists, while Lucas Roque, Tony Donatelli, Mike Deasel and Jonatas Melo each scored for Towson.
Florida Tropics (No. 3 seed in MASL Eastern Division Playoffs):
Points leader: Ricardo Carvalho
Florida dropped game one yesterday after being ahead or tied until the fourth quarter. Florida surrendered a three-goal run by the Blast, who went from being down 2-1 to ahead 4-2. Florida will have to win the second game tonight, plus the mini-game, to stay alive in the playoffs.
