Twin City Ballers News Release
Benton Harbor, MI. The ABA Twin City Balls professional basketball team scheduled to begin play in November today named Peter Jackson as Head Coach/Director of Basketball Operations. Peter comes to the team with a wealth of experience in coaching and basketball operations. In 1998, Peter became an assistant coach at Bellevue University in Omaha, NE. He played a vital role with the Bruins as they posted a 20-11 record, the first 20-win in the school's history. The team went on to become the MCAC regular season and tournament champion qualifying for the NAIA Division II National Tournament. The following season Peter was given the additional duties of Director of Basketball Operations and 1st Assistant for Bellevue University.
After successfully completing the 1999-2000 year, Peter was hired as the Director of Basketball Operations by the Fargo-Moorhead BEEZ professional team. During his first year, the BEEZ finished third in the division making the playoffs after being absent from post-season play the previous two years. He continued there until moving to the Grand Rapids Hoops, another pro team and finished second in the championship playoffs. He most recently was with the Akron Lightening, another professional team. For more information, email coreysterling@hotmail.com or visit www.abalive.com.
