LOS ANGELES - The Bakersfield Jam (6-3) lost to the Los Angeles D-Fenders (8-4) by a score of 96-68 tonight. David Palmer recorded his fifth straight double-double for the Jam, finishing with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
The two teams finished the first quarter tied at 21 but Los Angeles outscored Bakersfield 32-17 in the second period to take control of the game and carried that momentum through the end of the game. The Jam shot 32.9% from the field and a season-low 16.7% from the 3-point range.
Juan Pattillo led Bakersfield in scoring this evening with 12 points on 5-for-11 field goal shooting. Adrian Thomas contributed 11 points off the bench. Osiris Eldridge, Justin Graham and Anthony Harris finished with 8 points each.
Lakers assignee Andrew Goudelock tallied 24 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists to lead Los Angeles. Jordan Brady had 20 points on the night. Orien Greene finished with 14 points on 5-for-7 shooting and Lakers assignee Malcolm Thomas added 13 points.
Up next, the Jam visit the Rio Grande Valley Vipers for a pair of back-to-back games on December 22 and 23, both games at 5 p.m. PT.
