EL SEGUNDO, Calif. - After playing in a five point game last night against Bakersfield, the Los Angeles D-Fenders clamped down defensively and defeated the Jam 96-68 at the Toyota Sports Center. The 28-point win was the D-Fenders' largest margin of victory over the Jam, eclipsing the 22-point high set Jan. 28, 2007.

"Defensively it was a huge step for all of us," D-Fenders head coach Eric Musselman said on Saturday night. "We did a great job coming over and helping on dribble penetration."

Every time the Jam (6-3) tried to chip away at the lead, the D-Fenders (8-4) had an answer. In their team debuts, Los Angeles' Andrew Goudelock totaled 24 points (11-24 FG), four rebounds and seven assists while Malcolm Thomas recorded 13 points (5-7 FG) and six rebounds. Teammate Jordan Brady tallied a season-high 20 points (6-12 FG, 4-7 3FG) and six rebounds, Orien Greene finished with 14 points (5-7 FG) and three assists, and Brandon Costner added 10 points and 8 rebounds.

Leading by as many as 32, the D-Fenders (8-4) held the Jam to 32.9 percent shooting (16.7% 3FG). The Jam scoring was paced by Juan Pattillo (12) and Adrian Thomas (11) while David Palmer notched a double-double of 10 points and 11 rebounds. After scoring 52 points a night earlier, Osiris Eldridge was held to 8 points.

The D-Fenders head on a four-game road trip through the end of the year, starting against the Texas Legends on December 21st. Game time is at 7 p.m. and can be seen on NBA Futurecast.

For the first time ever, the D-Fenders are offering season ticket packages for the 2011-12 season that include special Lakers ticket purchase opportunities as well as various other incentives. Walk-up day of game general admission and courtside tickets are also still available for most home games. Ticket information is available on the team's website (www.d-fenders.com) or by contacting Nima Behboodi at (310) 426-6043 /nbehboodi@d-fenders.com.
