B-Sens Recall Goaltender Mitch O'keefe

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators recalled today goaltender Mitch O'Keefe from the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL.

O'Keefe, 24, has an 13-9-1 record, a 3.09 goals-against-average and a .891 save percentage in 24 games with Elmira this season. He was loaned to the Jackals last week, going 2-0 and stopping 39 of 43 shots on goal during this stretch. O'Keefe appeared in two AHL games with Iowa in 2007-08, posting one loss and a 2.35 goals-against-average.

The B-Sens (23-13-3-3, 52 pts.) head up I-88 to take on the Albany River Rats (17-21-3-2, 39 pts.) on Friday night at 7 p.m. Tune into 680 WINR-AM or 1430 WENE-AM 30 minutes before game time for Countdown to Faceoff with Grady Whittenburg, Voice of the B-Sens.
