Memphis Redbirds News Release
Memphis, Tenn. â AutoZone Park will play host to five local college baseball teams for the second time in the fall version of the Nostalgia Man Classic on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 9-10. Crichton College, Christian Brothers University, LeMoyne-Owen College, Rhodes College, and Southwest Tennessee Community College all return to the Classic. Each team will play two seven-inning games over the two-day period, for a total of five games during the event.
General admission tickets â good for all five games â are available for $15. Each ticket will also serve as a voucher for one Redbirds game during the 2005 season-opening homestand, April 7-14. Tickets are available now through participating schools and may be purchased at the ballpark on the day of the event. Gates will open at 9 a.m. each day, and concessions will be on sale at the park.
The participating teams represent a wide variety of competition levels and conferences. CBU and LeMoyne-Owen are NCAA Division II schools, in the Gulf South Conference and the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, respectively.
