
Avon Scores Twice As Petes Take 3-1 Series Lead Over Knights

(Peterborough, ON) - On Wednesday, May 17, the Peterborough Petes hosted the London Knights for game four of their OHL Championship best-of-seven series.
The Petes would win the game 5-3, taking a commanding 3-1 series lead in front of a new record crowd of 4,046 fans at the PMC. One lucky fan also took home a record 50/50 jackpot of $25,585 on a night that saw the 13th consecutive sell-out at the PMC.
J.R. Avon led the way for the Petes with two goals on the night, while Connor Lockhart had two assists. Owen Beck, Donovan McCoy, and Avery Hayes all scored. Brennan Othmann, Chase Stillman, Chase Lefebvre, and Tucker Robertson all picked up an assist. Michael Simpson stopped 50/53 for his 15th win of the playoffs.
