
Aviators Set for Friday Exhibition vs Schaumburg

The Rockford Aviators, presented by Pearson, will host the Schaumburg Boomers Friday at noon for their first exhibition game of the season. The game will be open to the public, free of charge, and concessions will be available.
The two clubs will face off again on Saturday in a noon start at Boomers Stadium in Schaumburg.
While it wont be the full gameday experience that the regular season brings, it will be fans first chance to see the revamped team in action. The regular season begins Friday, May 17, when the Aviators host the Frontier Greys at Aviators Stadium at 7:05 p.m. Cadence Barbershop Quartet will be on hand for a pregame performance, Code 1 Aviaton will perform a flyover prior to first pitch and after the game, there will be a spectacular postgame fireworks show, courtesy of Power Connection.
