
Grizzlies Hosting World's Largest Trombone Ensemble

The Gateway Grizzlies are calling all trombonists to participate in the world's largest trombone ensemble at GCS Ballpark on May 25th.
The trombonists will gather before the Grizzlies play the Schaumburg Boomers at 7:05 that night. The goal is to make a mark in the Guinness Book of World Records by executing the largest trombone ensemble ever. The current record is 368 and the Grizzlies' are looking to reach 400.
Among the participants will be three generations of Sauget's. Rich Sauget Sr. (Grizzlies Managing Officer), Rich Sauget Jr. (Mayer of Sauget) and Trey Sauget (Grandson of Rich Sauget Sr. and son of Rich Sauget Jr.) will all play their trombones at the game as part of the ensemble.
