Aviators lose game one at home
June 27, 2005 - Central Baseball League (Central League)
Coastal Bend Aviators News Release
ROBSTOWN, Texas-Coastal Bend began the second half of the season with a loss despite a great pitching performance by Jose Luis Lopez.
Lopez evened his record at 4-4 with a loss. He allowed four hits and three runs, only of which two were earned. The ninety-five pitch, eight inning performance went unrewarded as the Aviator bats only scratched out only three hits off Julio Ruiz.
The Aviators will look to even the series at 1-1 by returning the favor at Edinburg on Tuesday night.
Games three and four will be back at Fairgrounds Field Wednesday and Thursday night.
Tickets are available through the Aviator's website, www.aviatorsbaseball.com or call (361) 387-8585. All games are broadcast on KCCT 1150 AM, and the Aviators website.
