San Antonio Rampage News Release

SAN ANTONIO - The Colorado Avalanche announced today that goaltender Roman Will has been reassigned to the San Antonio Rampage. Additionally, defenseman Mason Geertsen has been reassigned to the club's ECHL affiliate, the Fort Wayne Komets.

Will, 23, was recalled by the Avalanche on Jan. 25 and made his NHL debut on Jan. 26 against the San Jose Sharks, where he recorded two saves on three shots in a relief effort. In 16 games with the Rampage this season, he has posted a 3.38 goals against average and a .895 save percentage.

Geertsen, 20, has played in 29 games with the Rampage in his rookie season, notching three assists and 34 penalty minutes. A fourth-round pick (#93 overall) of the Colorado Avalanche in the 2013 NHL Draft, he joined the Lake Erie Monsters last season after wrapping up the 2014-15 campaign with the WHL's Vancouver Giants, where he tallied 13 goals and 25 assists in 69 contests.

The Rampage host the San Jose Barracuda Friday and Saturday, Jan. 29-30, at the AT&T Center, the final two games before the AHL's All-Star break. Season tickets for the 2016-17 campaign are on sale now. For more information, call a Rampage representative at 210-444-5554 or visit sarampage.com.
