Auto Justice Attorney Michael T. Gibson Joins Solar Bears as Presenting Sponsor

ORLANDO, Fla. - The Orlando Solar Bears, proud affiliate of the NHL's Toronto Maple Leafs and AHL's Toronto Marlies, have announced that Auto Justice Attorney Michael T. Gibson, P.A. will be the presenting sponsor for the 2015-16 Orlando Solar Bears regular season. The team has commemorated this announcement with the unveiling of their logo design for the 2015-16 season, celebrating 10 Seasons of Solar Bears Hockey in Orlando.

"When Michael T. Gibson became our presenting playoff sponsor last year, we were thrilled at the level of commitment he had shown to the success of hockey in Orlando," Solar Bears President/CEO Jason Siegel said. "We are even more excited that he has elected to present the entire 2015-16 Solar Bears regular season, and what a season it will be!"

"We have been such avid supporters of the team, as we believe that our firm shares the same core values of providing a winning organization, but also taking care of and supporting our community. Throughout the 2015-16 season, Orlando Solar Bears fans can expect numerous tributes to memorable moments and players from previous seasons, including appearances from Solar Bears alumni, videos, contests, and more. The Solar Bears will also reveal their new game jerseys for the 2015-16 season at a press conference at the Amway Center on Thursday, Oct. 8 at 5:30 p.m.

Before the Solar Bears take the ice on Opening Night on Oct. 17th at the Amway Center against the Greenville Swamp Rabbits at 7:00 p.m., the team will recognize beloved Orlando media personality Scott McKenzie in a tribute created by current Solar Bears Public Address Announcer Paco Lopez. McKenzie was the longtime P.A. Announcer for the Solar Bears from 1995-2001 and was on hand as the Master of Ceremonies when the team raised its 2001 Turner Cup championship banner on Feb. 2, 2013.

The 10th anniversary logo - designed by Joe Bosack & Co., the same firm that designed the current Orlando Solar Bears logo - recognizes the heritage of Orlando Solar Bears hockey, first as a member of the International Hockey League from 1995-2001, during which time the team played its home games at the Amway Arena, culminating in a Turner Cup championship in the IHL's final season in 2000-01. The Solar Bears made their return by coming Out of Hibernation in 2012 as a member of the ECHL, while playing their home games at the Amway Center.

Single-game tickets for the 2015-16 season go on sale this morning at 10:00 a.m. and can be purchased for as little as $15 at the Amway Center Box Office or online at OrlandoSolarBearsHockey.com or Ticketmaster.com.
