Austin, TX January 13, 2013 - The Austin Toros (11-9) get a big win at home as they defeat the Texas Legends (11-8) and extend their win streak to four games Sunday afternoon at Cedar Park Center. The Toros started the game hot with a 9-0 lead over the Legends and never looked back pulling ahead by as many as 18 points in the victory.
Spurs Assignee Cory Joseph led the way, finishing with a game-high 27 points, eight rebounds and three assists. Rick Jackson also had an impressive night with 16 points and a career-high 16 rebounds. Justin Dentmon had a solid all-around performance with 25 points, nine assists and seven rebounds. Other players in double digit scoring for the Toros included Tyler Wilkerson (13 points, 12 rebounds) and JaMychal Greeen (12 points, seven rebounds).
The Texas Legends struggled from the tip and finished the game shooting 35% as a team from the field. Chris Roberts was their top performer, finishing the game with 21 points and 10 rebounds.
The Toros return home Friday, Jan. 25th to face the Idaho Stampede at 7:30pm at Cedar Park Center in their sixth matchup of the season.
