Austin Toros Announce Dance Team Auditions

AUSTIN, TX August 11, 2011 - The Austin Toros will host auditions for the 2011-12 Capital City Dance Team on August 27-30. First and second round auditions are Saturday, August 27th and Sunday the 28th at Cedar Park Center. Finals are scheduled for Tuesday, August 30th starting at 7p.m. at Hudson on Fifth (301 W. 5th Street). The final round is free and open to the public.
Capital City Dance Team members perform at all Austin Toros home games and participate in community activities throughout the year.
Participants must be 18 years or older and a high school graduate. Dancers must be able to attend all rehearsals and games, and have a reliable source of transportation. Participants will be judged on dance technique and style, showmanship, and physical and personal appearance.
Pre-registration is $25 through August 23rd, on-site registration is $35 and subject to availability.
