
Austin Spurs Acquire Travis McKie

AUSTIN (Mar. 5, 2015) - The Austin Spurs, presented by SWBC, today announced they have acquired forward Travis McKie. McKie will join the team later this week when the team returns to Austin.
McKie (6-7, 220) started 2015 playing in four games with the D-League's Canton Charge, where he averaged 3.8 points and 2.5 rebounds. Prior to that, he played in eight games with the Basic-Fit Brussels basketball team averaging 6.25 points and 1.62 rebounds in 21.6 minutes. The 22 year old played four years at Wake Forest (127 games, 127 starts), averaging 13.3 points and 6.4 rebounds from 2010-2014.
McKie will wear jersey No. 20 when the teams hosts the Bakersfield Jam on Saturday, Mar. 7 at Cedar Park Center starting at 7:30 p.m.
