PREVIEW: The Bruins dropped game one last weekend against the Bismarck Bobcats, 3-1, before coming out on fire on Saturday night. A three-goal second period propelled the Bruins to a 5-1 victory over Bismarck, tying their season high single-game goal total. Up next for the black and gold, they play host on Friday, November 23rd as part of a home-and-home against the Chippewa Steel. The Bruins are 2-0 on the season against the Steel who are coached by former Austin Assistant Al Rooney.

Chippewa has been on a skid lately, having lost their last three games and are only 2-8-0-0 in their last ten games. Currently in last place in the Midwest Division, the Steel's 12 standing points is second lowest in the league behind only Brookings (7). Expect the Steel to play the Bruins hard as they did the last time out. The Bruins needed to score 5 goals to get the win in their last showdown with the Steel, and got it off the stick of Joe Mysak late in the 3rd period.
