Tampa Yankees News Release
Tampa, Fla. -Tonight's game, vs. the Clearwater Threshers, has been cancelled due to unplayable field conditions and expected rain throughout the evening. There will be a doubleheader scheduled for Wednesday, August 10th when the two teams meet again at George M. Steinbrenner Field. The first game will start at 5:00PM (gates open at 4:00PM). The second game is scheduled to start 30 minutes after the end of the first game. Both games will be seven-inning contests.
Tickets from today's rainout can be redeemed at the George M. Steinbrenner Field box office, for any remaining Tampa Yankees' regular season home game.
