Attack Continue Pre-Season Action by Visiting Battalion
September 17, 2021 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Owen Sound Attack News Release
After 12 days of rest from game action, the Owen Sound Attack resume their pre-season schedule, as they travel to North Bay to meet the Battalion for a Saturday matinee game on September 18th.
Saturday's game is the second of five preseason games, and the first of two against the Battalion. A familiar face will be returning to the lineup, as Stepan Machacek will make his first pre-season appearance. He will be joined by fellow imports Servac Petrovsky and Nikita Tiatinkin, as they will be pulling the Attack jersey on for the first time.
The Attack will feature a very youthful lineup, with veteran bears Mark Woolley (CBJ), Kaleb Lawrence (CBJ), Deni Goure (STL), Andrew Perrott (STL), Ethan Burroughs (PHI) and Mack Guzda (BUF) all away at NHL Rookie Camps. This provides a great opportunity for the new members of the team to showcase their ability to the coaches in a true game setting.
Unfortunately, Saturday's game will not be on the radio or television, but fans can follow a live stats feed from the North Bay Memorial Gardens starting at 2pm by clicking the game in the Belfor Property Restoration Out of Town Scoreboard at the top of the Attack's homepage. The Attack will also be providing updates on the Attack's Struyk Energy Systems Twitter feed.
The Weekend Preview is presented by Joe Tomato's, located in the Galaxy plaza on the sunset strip.
