Oshawa Generals News Release
The Oshawa Generals will be looking to get back into the win column tonight as they take on the visiting Niagara IceDogs.
The Generals are currently 1-1 on the preseason. They last saw game action on September 5th against the Hamilton Bulldogs, a game in which they lost by a score of 5-3.
This game will be a fantastic chance for head coach Todd Miller to look at some younger players on his roster. Players such as Brett Harrison (BOS), David Jesus (ARI), Tye McSorley (LA), Lleyton Moore (TOR), and captain Ty Tullio (EDM) are unavailable for tonight's game due to them all attending NHL rookie camps.
Many eyes tonight will be focused on rookie Calum Ritchie, who has been dynamite in his first two preseason games, registering one goal and four assists.
It all gets underway tonight at Tribute Community Centre, with puck drop scheduled for 7:35 pm.
