Atlanta United 2 Announces 2021 USL Championship Schedule

ATLANTA - Atlanta United 2 today announced its schedule for the 2021 USL Championship season. The 32-match schedule is an even split of 16 home matches and 16 away matches. Placed in the Central Division, ATL UTD 2 will play each of its seven divisional opponents four times, plus four more matches against teams from outside of its division.

The 496-game regular season that marks the league's 11th campaign is set to kick off on Saturday, April 24 and conclude on Saturday, October 30 with a 15-game slate that sees all-but-one of the league's 31 teams in action on the final day of the regular season.

As previously announced, the 2021 Championship regular season will see each of the league's teams play a 32-game schedule over a 28-week regular season, with the league divided into four divisions and two conferences. The structure for the 2021 USL Championship Playoffs will be announced prior to the start of the regular season.

Joining Atlanta in the Central Division is Birmingham Legion FC, Indy Eleven, Louisville City FC, Memphis 901 FC, Sporting Kansas City II, OKC Energy FC and FC Tulsa. ATL UTD 2's non-divisional matches will come against Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC on Aug. 22 at Highmark Stadium, Charleston Battery on Sept. 15, Tampa Bay Rowdies Sept. 18, both at Fifth Third Bank Stadium, and finally against Rio Grande Valley FC Toros Sept. 25 at H-E-B Park.
