ATLANTA, Ga. - The Atlanta Dream have signed guard Taylor Mikesell, the organization announced today.
Mikesell was selected with the No. 13 overall pick in the 2023 WNBA Draft by the Indiana Fever, participating in the Fever's training camp and scoring five points in 14 minutes in their preseason game against Chicago.
The 5-10 guard spent two seasons of her five-year collegiate career at Ohio State, where she earned All-Big Ten First Team honors in both seasons. She averaged 17.9 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 68 games for the Buckeyes, helping her team to the NCAA Tournament Elite Eight with a defeat over No. 2 UConn on the way in 2022-23. Her selection in the 2023 Draft made her the first Buckeye selected in the WNBA Draft since Kelsey Mitchell in 2018.
