BOISE, ID - Athletic Club Boise gathered Thursday with leaders from seven youth-focused nonprofit organizations at the Athletic Club Boise Stadium at Expo Idaho to recognize new partnerships supporting young people across the state of Idaho.
The partner organizations include:
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Idaho - Creating and supporting one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth through professionally supported matches between caring adults and young people.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County - Providing safe, supportive spaces where young people can learn, grow, and thrive through after-school and summer programs focused on academic success, character development, and healthy lifestyles.
Camp Rainbow Gold - Providing emotionally empowering experiences for Idaho children diagnosed with cancer and their families through medically supported camps and year-round programs.
Make-A-Wish Idaho - Creating life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses, bringing hope, strength, and joy to families across the state.
Special Olympics Idaho - Delivering year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, promoting inclusion, confidence, and community connection.
Women's and Children's Alliance (WCA) - Offering safety, healing, and freedom from domestic abuse and sexual assault through shelter, counseling, and prevention education services in the Treasure Valley.
YMCA of Treasure Valley - Strengthening the community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility with programs that serve children and families of all backgrounds and abilities.
"At Athletic Club Boise, we believe soccer is more than a game - it's a unifying force that brings communities together," said Jeff Matsushita, Director of Community Enrichment for Athletic Club Boise. "We're building something bigger than soccer. We're creating a community where young people feel welcomed, supported, and part of the team - a place full of joy, connection, and a sense of belonging."
As part of these partnerships, Athletic Club Boise will:
Host dedicated youth soccer clinics and engagement events throughout the season, led by club coaches and staff
Provide access to professional soccer experiences through ticket donations totaling more than 4,000 tickets during the 2026 inaugural season, as well as player meet & greets.
Highlight each nonprofit organization at a designated home match, beginning with Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County during the April 4 home opener
In early summer, Athletic Club Boise will host its first multi-organization youth clinic of the summer, bringing together participants from all seven partner organizations for a shared day of soccer, connection, and celebration at the club's new stadium. The clinic will focus on fun, fundamentals, and confidence-building in an inclusive environment designed for youth of all backgrounds and abilities.
Throughout the season, the club will continue working alongside each organization to expand access to soccer programming, create meaningful matchday experiences, and support youth development initiatives statewide.
