
Athletes tee it up for local childrens charities

Denver â Fans are needed to hit the links with the Colorado Crush, Colorado Mammoth and Colorado Rapids at the 2004 Celebrity Golf Classic on Monday, July 26. Players, coaches and local celebrities will tee off to raise money for local charities.
To be held at the beautiful Omni Interlocken Resort in Broomfield, the Celebrity Golf Classic will begin at 1:30 pm. Fees include green fees, global positioning system, balls, club storage, complimentary beverages, awards dinner and more. A celebrity player will be added to each foursome.
Proceeds from the 2004 Celebrity Golf Classic benefit the Colorado Rapids Community Care Foundation, which supports underserved youth by providing assistance for educational and recreational programs. A portion of the proceeds will also benefit Kroenke Sports Charities, which supports local charities that benefit children and families.
