Ates Diouf Featured in USL League One Week 26 Team of the Week

TAMPA, Fla. - Lexington SC forward Ates Diouf was named to the USL League One Week 25 Team of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday.

Lexington SC played two matches during the week, coming up short 3-2 away at NC Hailstorm FC and reaching a 2-2 draw away at CV Fuego FC.

Diouf did not find the net in the first contest but recorded a brace against Fuego. His first goal was a live-play header into the net from a cross by Tate Robertson and marked his 11th of the season.

Diouf also stepped up to the penalty spot later in the match, sending one home after Nico Brown was taken down in the box. The goal was his 12th of the year and his third from the penalty spot.

Next up for Lexington SC the club will finally return home on September 17 for a rematch against Charlotte Ind.
