
Assistant Head Coach Nate Bjorkgren Accepts Dakota Wizards' Head Coaching Post

DES MOINES, IA, August 3, 2011 - Iowa Energy Assistant Head Coach Nate Bjorkgren was announced today as the new Head Coach of the Dakota Wizards. The Wizards were recently purchased by the Golden State Warriors and will have a single-affiliation structure with the NBA franchise.
Bjorkgren has been with the Energy since the team's inception in 2007. He was an assistant coach from 2007-2011 before being promoted to assistant head coach prior to the 2011 NBA D-League championship series.
Dakota finished 2010-11 with a 19-31 record, good for 4th place in the NBA D-League's Eastern Conference.
