
Assistant Coach Whiteside Accepts Scouting Position

Cedar Rapids, IA - The Montreal Canadiens have hired RoughRiders Assistant Coach Andrew Whiteside as a scout, announced today by RoughRiders General Manager and Head Coach, Mark Carlson.
"The Roughriders organization is very happy that Andrew has earned this great opportunity to join the Montreal Canadians as an amateur scout ! Andrew was a great member of our Roughriders team and was committed to the task at hand every day, it was enjoyable working with him . It's great to see him join our other Roughrider alumni currently scouting in the NHL. We wish him all the best getting started in the National Hockey League!"
Whiteside is a native of Philadelphia, PA and attended Niagara University. He was previously with the Kenai Brown Bears, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights and the Lone Star Brahmas prior to joining the RoughRiders.
Whiteside has accepted the Montreal Canadiens scouting position for the 2022-2023 season.
