
A's Match Franchise High in Win over Miracles

BRAMPTON, ON - The Brampton A's defeated the Moncton Miracles 130-99 at the Powerade Centre Thursday night. The A's marked its franchise high regular season score in tonight's victory. Brampton is now 17-14 on the season.
The A's and Miracles traded baskets early on, with both teams holding a one to two point advantage throughout the first quarter. Brampton picked up momentum atop the second quarter, after dominating the paint 36-16.
Brampton headed to the locker room at the half with a 51-40 lead; led by Thomas Granado and TyShwan Edmondson who scored 11 and 10 points respectively.
The A's never looked back in the second half as they led by an average of 28 points for the final stint. The home team hit numerous shots from beyond the arc, along with a few electrifying slam dunks.
Brampton shot 53 percent from the field and 42 percent from long distance in another balanced offensive attack. Edmondson led all scorers with 34 points and seven rebounds. Kyle Johnson added 22 points, while Akeem Scott recorded a game-high 10 assists.
The Brampton A's will travel to Windsor for an important, playoff bearing contest against the Express. The A's will need this victory in order to help solidify the second seed in the Central Division. The A's will return home, Saturday, March 7th, for first round playoff action against the London Lightning.
