A's Let One Slide in Windsor

WINDSOR, ON.- The Brampton A's fell 103-96 to the Windsor Express on the road Thursday night. Brampton now moves to 6-9 on the season. 

The A's scored the first basket of the game and appeared to have solid offensive control after nailing a number of three-point baskets early on. Brampton at one point, jumped out to a double-digit lead in the first half as they shot 58 percent from beyond the arc and held the Express to under 40 percent from the field. 

Brampton concluded the first half with a 47-43 advantage at the half led by Brent Jennings who recorded 10 points. 

The A's held on to their lead for the majority of the third quarter until the Express began to knock down shots and head to the free throw line. Brampton found themselves down by one or two points during the second stint as the two teams traded basket. Windsor hit a surge of confidence as they knocked down crucial shots when it mattered to rattle the A's. 

Jennings finished the game with contest with 19 points and seven rebounds, while Akeem Ellis followed with 17 points.

The A's will host the Mississauga Power this Saturday for another match on the Peel Battle saga. Tipoff is set for 7 pm. For tickets contact tickets@bramptonas.ca.
