Macon Mayhem News Release
It was an artistic success for Macon Mayhem defenseman Mike Wills in his first solo art exhibit Saturday night in downtown Macon.
Wills put several of his works on display at the SoChi gallery and by all accounts the show was a hit. SoChi owner Terrell Sandefur estimated several hundred patrons went through the gallery during the three hour show.
Hockey fans mixed with art patrons and all marveled at the skill and talent Wills displays in his paintings. Most of Wills' Mayhem teammates also showed up for the gala.
Wills sold two paintings during the show, and will likely have more sales to follow. Sandefur and his family already were Mayhem fans but have become more so with the partnership with Wills. For more information about Wills' art work at SoChi Gallery call 478-238-6630.
The Mayhem has completed its regular season and awaits the completion of the Southern Professional Hockey League's regular season to learn its playoff opponent.
