Charleston, South Carolina - The Allen Americans won a double overtime thriller, as Vincent Arseneau fired a shot past Stingrays goalie Jeff Jakaitis with 11:11 left on the clock in the second overtime and the Allen Americans won the game 3-2, to even the ECHL Kelly Cup Finals at 2-2.

The Americans got both of their goals in the opening period. First, Dyson Stevenson lifted a backhander past Jeff Jakaitis at the 6:15 mark to make it 1-0 Allen. Twenty nine seconds later, Greger Hanson followed up a rebound in front of the Stingrays net to make it 2-0 Americans. The Stingrays would get a 5 on 3 power play later in the period, which set up their first goal. Derek DeBlois knocked one in past Riley Gill shortly after the two-man power play expired, to cut the lead to 2-1. The score would remain that way after twenty minutes, with the Stingrays outshooting the Americans 13-10.

The Stingrays had the only goal of the second period, as Caleb Herbert redirected a pass that found its way over the top of Riley Gill's glove to make the score 2-2 at the end of two periods.

There would be no more scoring until the 8:49 mark of the second overtime, when Americans forward Vincent Arseneau ripped one past Jeff Jakaitis for the game winner, and leveling the ECHL Kelly Cup Finals at 2-2.

Game 5 of the ECHL Kelly Cup Finals is Tuesday night, here in Charleston, with a 6:05 pm puck drop from the North Charleston Coliseum.
