
Armor Trade Guard JamesOn Curry to Bakersfield

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Springfield Armor, presented by MGM Springfield, announced Thursday that guard JamesOn Curry has been traded to the Bakersfield Jam in exchange for the Jam's original third round draft pick in the 2014 NBA Development League Draft.
Curry, 27, made seven starts over 10 appearances for the Armor this season before being deactivated on December 27. The Oklahoma State product was averaging 7.3 points and 3.7 assists per game prior to his deactivation. Curry is the Armor's all-time leader in games played (121), points (1884), assists (635), steals (197) and minutes played (4352), among other categories. The 6-3 guard has played one career game in the NBA with the Los Angeles Clippers during the 2009-10 season.
The Armor return to action Friday night to host the Tulsa 66ers at 7:00 p.m. inside the MassMutual Center for the team's first game of the 2014 calendar year, presented by Comcast.
