PORTLAND, Maine, January 2, 2014 - The Tulsa 66ers fell to the Maine Red Claws, 105-96, on Thursday night at the Portland Expo Building.
Isaiah Wilkerson scored a career-high 23 points alongside six rebounds and five assists, leading Tulsa in scoring for the first time in his career.
Mario Little posted 18 points while Ron Anderson collected 12 points and 12 rebounds, pulling down double-digit boards for the third time in his five games this season. Grant Jerrett added 10 points, three rebounds and three assists.
The 66ers and Red Claws were locked in a back-and-forth first half, which featured 14 lead changes and 14 ties, as Maine led 47-45 at the half.
The Red Claws came out of the half shooting 66.7 percent in the third quarter, outscoring Tulsa, 36-24 in the frame before going on to hold off the 66ers in the fourth.
Tulsa (2-13) dished out 20 assists and grabbed 46 rebounds, including 20 on the offensive end.
Maine (7-6) was led by Marshon Brooks, on assignment from the Boston Celtics, with 26 points, four rebounds and three assists.
The 66ers continue their six-game road trip on Friday night against the Springfield Armor in Springfield, Mass. The matchup can be seen live on YouTube at 6 p.m.
