
Armor Reacquire Jeff Foote

SPRINGFIELD, MA- The Springfield Armor announced today that they have reacquired center Jeff Foote. Foote will join the team in Bismarck, ND and will be available when the Armor face the Dakota Wizards at 8:00 p.m. ET. The current roster now stands at 10.
Foote (7-0, 265, Cornell) returns to the Armor after earning his first-career GATORADE Call-Up with the New Orleans Hornets. He made his NBA debut on March 9 against the Denver Nuggets, scoring 4 points and grabbing 4 rebounds in 23 minutes off the Hornets' bench. In four games with New Orleans, Foote averaged 1.0 points and 1.5 rebounds in 9.8 minutes.
Prior to joining the Hornets, Foote played in 29 games, 28 starts, with the Armor, averaging 14.8 points, a team-high 8.6 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 32.9 minutes. He posted a team-high 10 double-doubles and was named a 2012 NBA Development League All-Star. Foote also had a stint with the Portland Trail Blazers in their training camp early in the season.
The Armor return home on Saturday, March 24 when they host their annual 'Paint it Pink Night', presented by Big Y, for their 7:00 p.m. game against the Canton Charge. The Armor will be wearing special custom pink jerseys that will be auctioned off during the game to raise funds for Rays of Hope, the breast cancer research arm of Baystate Medical Center.

Springfield Armor With an ownership group led by Massachusetts-based Michael Savit, NBA Springfield was announced as the NBA Development League's second team in New England during a press conference at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame on March 31, 2009. Between November 19th and April 2nd of 2010-2011, the Springfield Armor played a 50-game schedule, including 24 home dates at the MassMutual Center. On May 1st, the Armor officially began a hybrid partnership with the New Jersey Nets to become the Nets' exclusive NBA Development League affiliate. The Nets have assumed control of the Armor's basketball operations, while the Armor will continue to run the organization's business operations with a focus on providing affordable family entertainment to the Greater Springfield area.
