Arlington Renegades Announce Coaching Staff for the 2024 Season

ARLINGTON, TX - The Arlington Renegades today announced the coaching staff that will assist head coach Bob Stoops for the 2024 season.

"I am pleased to officially unveil our coaching staff for the upcoming season. Building on the success of last year, we've maintained continuity by retaining the majority of our coaching personnel. This seasoned group brings a wealth of experience and a shared commitment to excellence," said head coach Bob Stoops. "The familiarity and cohesion within our coaching staff are invaluable assets as we gear up for another championship campaign. We believe in the strengths of our team on and off the field, and this staff plays a pivotal role in cultivating success."

The 2023 XFL champions will feature a lot of familiar faces on the coaching staff and personnel side for the inaugural UFL season, with several coaches serving on staff last season.

Returning to the gridiron are Rick Mueller, who will serve as General Manager for the team. Offensive specialists Chuck Long (Offensive Coordinator), Jonathan Himebauch and Reggie Lewis. On the defensive side the Renegades return Bill Sheridan and Jay Hayes (Defensive Coordinator) and welcome Marvin Sanders who will serve as the Defensive Backs coach.

Matt McMillen returns to the team as a quality control coach after serving as the team's director of team operations last season. Scott Spurrier will also serve as special teams coach after being the tight ends and special teams coach previously.
