NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The Frisco RoughRiders, the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, allowed 13 runs in the sixth inning and fell 17-3 to the Arkansas Travelers Sunday afternoon in the series finale at Dickey-Stephens Park.
BIG MOMENTS * The Travelers exploded for 13 runs on 11 hits in the sixth, running away with the victory. After a strikeout started the inning, the Travelers had 11 straight men reach. Tyler Marlette capped the inning with a grand slam. * Frisco took a 2-0 lead in the top of the second on Michael De Leon's RBI single and Kevin Torres' RBI fielder's choice. The Riders added a run in the ninth on Isiah Kiner-Falefa's RBI single. * Rangers rehabber Jose Leclerc fired a scoreless fifth inning, allowing an infield hit. Eight of his 12 pitches were strikes.
