SPRINGDALE, Ark. -- The Arkansas Aeros fought off a pesky St. Louis Stunners squad Friday night in coming away with a 115-101 victory Friday night in American Basketball Association action at the All-Star Sports Arena.
The Aeros, the No. 1 ranked team in the ABA, found themselves down 62-58 at halftime before turning on the jets after intermission as they posted their 14th victory of the season against two losses.
Curtis Haywood led the Aeros charge, scoring 26 of his game-high 38 points in the second half. Daryan Selvy added 19 to the winning cause.
Chris Bacon led St. Louis (4-8) with 25 points.
The Aeros are off until Thursday when they host Mississippi at All-Star.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
