Arizona Wins Again, Tops Ft. Worth 2-1

Arizona Sundogs News Release
Prescott Valley, AZ - The Arizona Sundogs won again and topped the Ft. Worth Brahmas Saturday night at the NYTEK Sports Centre, 2-1.
Each team tallied a goal in the opening frame, leaving it tied heading into the first intermission. The Brahmas were first on the board 6:59 into the period with a breakaway shot from Sy Nutkevitch . Arizona's Derek LeBlanc would even the score when he put the puck in the net less than eight minutes later. Chad Nehring and Jake Hauswirth both collected assists.
Ron Meyers scored the game winning goal 7:40 into the second period with assist from Jason Morgan. Paul Kurceba and the Brahmas' Cole Ruwe would each be assessed two minutes for roughing and immediately after their penalty expired would drop their gloves at center ice with less than three minutes in the period. Each, were given five minute fighting majors.
Adam Russo took the win for the Sundogs making 26 saves. The Brahmas outshot the Sundogs 27-23. Both Arizona and Fort Worth were 0-2 on the power play. Arizona extends their winning streak to three games and Meyers is on a two game goal streak. Denver will host the Sundogs for the final time this season on Tuesday when the puck drops at 7:05PM CST at the Denver Coliseum.
