
Arizona Sting Acquire Second Round Pick in 2007 NLL Entry Draft...

GLENDALE, ARIZONA --- Arizona Sting General Manager and Head Coach Bob Hamley announced today that the Sting has traded defensemen Matt Dwane and Chris McElroy to the Edmonton Rush in exchange for a second round draft pick in the 2007 NLL Entry Draft.
The Sting had acquired both Dwane and McElroy earlier in the day as part of the NLL Dispersal Draft of Anaheim players. (The Anaheim franchise suspended operations following the 2005 season.) The Sting had two selections in the Dispersal Draft, picking McElroy with the 9th overall selection and Dwane with the 10th overall selection.
