PHOENIX - The Arizona Rattlers and Hickman's Egg Ranch have partnered together to give children the opportunity to participate in an egg hunt before the Rattlers' game versus the Chicago Rush on Saturday, April 15.

The egg hunt, which will take place in the Casino Arizona & US Airways Center Pavilion, starts at 5:30 p.m. The event is open to the public, as children (ages 12 and under) will be broken up in to different groups to find 10,800 dyed hard-boiled eggs.

Once the eggs have been collected, kids will trade them in for plastic ones with prizes. All of the real eggs will be donated to First Food Alliance, who will distribute them throughout food shelters in Arizona.

"We appreciate the contributions and participation of our partner, Hickman's Egg Ranch, to this exciting event," said Chief Operating Officer Blake Edwards. "With the continual increase we have been experiencing with our youth audience, the pre-game egg hunt is a perfect fit."

Kickoff for Saturday's game is set for 7:00 p.m. PST. Tickets can be purchased by calling 602-514-TDTD.

About Hickman's: Hickman's Egg Ranch, Inc. has been family owned and operated in Arizona since 1944. Hickman's broke into the Arizona food-service market by offering fresh, local eggs direct to small independent restaurants and consumers.
