Toronto Argonauts News Release
Mississauga - The reigning Grey Cup champions have been working hard at training camp preparing for a new season. Fans are invited to check out the 2013 version of their Toronto Argonauts when the team hosts its annual Double Blue Game this Saturday, June 8 at 1:30 p.m.
QB Ricky Ray leads the offence in the closest thing to game action since winning the 100th Grey Cup championship last November. CFL Most Outstanding Player Chad Owens is looking for a repeat performance in 2013 and Grey Cup MVP RB Chad Kackert is back to excite fans. The defence is led by high energy veterans DT Kevin Huntley, LB Brandon Isaac and LB Robert McCune.
The Double Blue Game will feature players participating in a scrimmage with the offence going up against the defence. Coaches will have plays ready for every scenario to keep up with the fast pace of the game.
Fans can see this year's club in true live game action for the first time at historic Varsity Stadium for the club's pre-game season home game on June 20. The Argos' regular season home opener on June 28 will feature a 100th Grey Cup championship celebration at Rogers Centre when the team will raise the 100th Grey Cup championship banner.
