Area Honor Roll Students Attend Tomorrow Night's Mallards Game

MOLINE, Ill. (February 28, 2014) - The Quad City Mallards and Cobham Mission Systems have partnered to provide more than 3,000 tickets to the Mallards' home game tomorrow night for area honor roll students through the Mallards' Blades for Grades program.

Local middle and junior high school students who made the honor roll for at least one grading period during the current school year have been rewarded with a voucher good for a ticket to tomorrow night's 7:05 p.m. game between the Mallards and Brampton Beast at the iWireless Center.

"The Blades for Grades program has met with a tremendous response from schools and students throughout the Quad Cities area again this year," said Mallards president Bob McNamara. "We are very grateful to Cobham Mission Systems for partnering with us this season to encourage academic achievement and help make Blades for Grades such an overwhelming success."

Cobham plc is an international company engaged in the development, delivery and support of advanced aerospace and defense systems in the air, on land, at sea and in space. Founded in 1951, Cobham's Davenport facility is part of the Cobham Mission Systems Division, a specialist provider of aviation oxygen to the military and civil markets.

Tickets for tomorrow night's game and all Mallards regular season home tilts can be purchased at the iWireless Center ticket office, Ticketmaster outlets, through ticketmaster.com or through Ticketmaster charge-by-phone toll free at 1-800-745-3000. The ticket office is open weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and on game days from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the second period.
