AquaSox Fan-Fest a hit

Everett - The Everett AquaSox set a new franchise record for the first-day of single-game ticket sales with 2,495 tickets sold during the club's annual Fan-Fest last Saturday. More than 800 people took part in the festivities, which included a free barbecue lunch and activities at Everett Memorial Stadium.

"What a great day - the weather was perfect," said AquaSox General Manager Brian Sloan. "Our guests had a tremendous time and we are off to a very good start to the 2006 season."

The Famous Chicken Night (July 28), and all seven of the scheduled fireworks nights have been the fastest selling tickets. The AquaSox series finale vs. Boise on Friday, July 21 is officially a sellout.

The AquaSox open the 2006 season in Everett on Monday, June 19 versus the Tri-City Dust Devils. The game starts at 7:05 p.m. with the gates opening at 6:00 p.m. Single game seats, season tickets, group tickets and three different eight-game mini plans are available now.
