
AquaSox Complete Comeback Win over Spokane

SPOKANE, WA: The AquaSox scored five times in the seventh inning for a come from behind victory on Friday night over the Spokane Indians. With a 7-5 win, the AquaSox move to 32-34 on the season.
Trailing 4-1 heading into the seventh inning, Everett loaded the bases with one out. Alberto Rodriguez and Andy Thomas drew walks forcing in runs. Myles Miller then had a pinch hit a two-run single to give the Sox the lead. James Parker extended the lead with an RBI fielder's choice to finish the scoring.
That was all the Sox would need as the bullpen held the lead. Jarod Bayless (3-2) earned the victory and Kyle Hill picked up his third save in front of 4,451 fans at Avista Stadium. The three wins are a new professional high for Bayless.
Prelander Berroa got the start for Everett but didn't figure in the decision. He allowed one run on two hits in four innings while striking out six.
Victor Labrada, Trent Tingelstad and Axel Sanchez accounted for six of the teams nine hits. In addition to Miller, both Rodriguez and Thomas had a pair of RBI's.
For Spokane (34-31) Zac Veen and Colin Simpson both homered.
