Anthony Simmons Foundation Donates to Toy Drive

December 15, 2004 - National Indoor Football League (NIFL) - Everett Hawks News Release

Kirkland, WA-The Anthony Simmons Foundation partners with the Everett Hawks of the National Indoor Football League and Volunteers of America of Snohomish County/Everett, both of Everett, WA for a Toy Drive. As a partner of the Toy Drive the Anthony Simmons Foundation will donate $2,500 worth of toys to the fundraiser. He encourages other athletes and fans to drop off toys to the collection bin at the Hawks office the entire month of December.

Jeff “The Fish” Aaron of Northsound 1380 will host Anthony Simmons on his show on Tuesday, December 21st at 4 pm to talk about his foundation and the importance of his donation to children in Snohomish County. Concluding the radio show, he will attend an Open House the Hawks are hosting for the general public at the team’s office in Everett (2202 Everett Avenue Suite A, Everett, WA 98201) also on Tuesday, from 4 pm–7 pm. As entry to the Open house, each guest is encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to be donated to Volunteers of America.

The Everett Hawks, owned by All Pro Defensive Tackle of the Buffalo Bills, Sam Adams, is a professional indoor football team of the NIFL. The team will play March-June with Playoffs in July in the Everett Events Center. For more information on the team, visit www.everetthawks.com.
